Since 1994 Janneke Vermeulen works as an acupuncturist – trained in Europe, China and the USA – and is specialized in Diving Medicine, Ear, Nose and Throat Disorders (ENT), Chinese Face Reading and Diagnosis, Infertility and Facial Acupuncture Renewal. As being a general physiotherapist and manual therapist Marsman as well there is profound knowledge about all joint and muscle complaints, stress related problems and lifestyle coaching. Internationally, Janneke provides lectures and courses, is researcher, author and creator of Diving Medical Acupuncture™ and PhD student at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine (NJUCM) in China.
The mission from Mermaid Medicine® is supporting health and personal development by giving high quality treatments based on solid medical knowledge, and skills, which are exchanged internationally. Mermaid Medicine® assumes Integrative Medicine (IM), which values Eastern and Western sciences. The aim is to get the patient balanced and free from complaints with the fewest possible number of treatments. Mermaid Medicine® symbolizes medical knowledge.
